OVERVIEW:

The session will describe the pathophysiology and genetic cause of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and its cutaneous manifestations, with the goal of orienting specialists to the dermatological aspects of what is typically seen as an outward-facing neurological disorder. This will help neurologists identify the cutaneous manifestations of TSC and understand the impacts the disease has on their patients, as well as the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment.

Sponsor: Nobelpharma America, LLC
